MACHINING
We have machinery that allows us to carry out different processes:
Squaring: through Altendorf squaring machines and CNC machines with diamond blades/cutters, which guarantee a degree of precision and finish otherwise unattainable.
Pinning: carried out exclusively through numerically controlled machines, unique in speed and precision.
CNC machining: engraving, shaping, milling, drilling is carried out with precision and speed thanks to numerically controlled machining centers.
Profiling and shaping: Decimal precision machining that we carry out by means of spindle moulders and moulders with automatic feed.
Veneer: The entire upper floor of our workshop is dedicated to the storage and processing (such as cutting and splicing) of multiple types of veneer. We employ different types of glues for veneer plating-depending on their application on panels, supports, solids or other materials. For each type of support, veneer and field of application, it is very important to know the glues to be used, the temperature to be reached and the pressure to be applied.
Cutting and splicing: this is done using a 3-meter pneumatic cutter. Veneer splicing is carried out by special machinery that can use wire or glue. In the case of briars or inlays, splicing is done manually, using a special paper.
Gluing: this is done manually or by means of an automatic gluing machine, while pressing using a press with a 3.5-meter table. Gluing of solids and tambours, as well as plating of laminates and veneers, are practices that require great expertise of the materials and glues to be used at the right temperatures.
Carving and inlaying: we entrust this operation to trusted outside professionals who, following our directions, produce what is required. It is our responsibility to apply it to the furniture.
5-axis machining: machining operations involving several faces of the same product are carried out through a 5-axis machining center, which can perform a variety of procedures quickly and accurately.
MATERIALS
HARDWOOD
We process solid wood with a thorough knowledge of its properties, fields of use and peculiarities. For each type of solid wood, we employ the appropriate machinery – band saw, multi-blade, wire planer, thickness planer, 4-shaft moulder, grader, spindle moulder, log saw.
Depending on the specificity of the workmanship, we then use products and glues suitable for the type of wood in question. In our experience, all good workmanship begins in the targeted choice at the purchasing stage, which we carry out with special care.
PANELS
Depending on what is required by the kind of workmanship, we use any kind of panel-from the most traditional, such as MDF, chipboard, melamine-faced, plywood, and batten panels-to the more specific, such as marine plywood, laminated or laminated panels.
NON-WOODY
Of these complementary materials, we have gained knowledge of their qualities and properties, their fields of use, their limitations of their best applications in joinery, for each type and genre. In addition to deepening our experience in the field, we have over the years selected the ideal suppliers, to whom we provide special directions and technical drawings in the process, so as to produce the best possible integrated product. At our office it is possible to see (or request samples) of the most varied examples of these materials, so that their aesthetic value can be assessed directly.

PRIVATE
The best starting quality is being able to listen, and correctly interpret the will of the architect and thus the needs of the final client. It is our concern to follow every moment of the executive project: from the very first stage of survey, to the production of design concepts and renderings, through every stage of processing leading to the delivery of the finished product. Our experience makes us prepared to advise on the best choice of finishes and materials, as well as in evaluating the distribution of available space, lighting, movement and hardware.
The result in operational terms must always coincide with the desired customization, which is why we oversee every step in the design phase.
It is the combination of our attention, care, and use of special equipment that enables us to achieve the indispensable levels of precision required to produce work with high standards of quality.
CONTRACT
The basis of our design and execution formula for the world of private homes applies identically in that of commercial space furnishings. In this case, an element of greater complexity is the need to handle significantly differentiated materials of use-the most prestigious alongside the most practical-with a higher level of coordination.
Another distinguishing point in the production of furniture for commercial spaces is the ability to generally manage short delivery times, in which effective interaction with teams of professionals who have to work on the same site is essential.
Our history of producing classic furnishings continues today through architects and companies for whom we carry out customized work, such as closets, walk-in closets, bookcases, paneling and more.
Again, it is our strength to provide technical support prior to and parallel to the realization phase, as well as to coordinate the work of outside professionals-inlayers, carvers, marble workers, upholsterers-providing drawings and operational guidance.
In general, our great experience in working with woods of each kind is decisive in these executions: every type of solid wood, every type of wood veneer, knowing for each the unique properties. Another of our specialties is the treatment of templates and inlays, for every operation from gluing to sanding.
Our spacious facility allows us to pre-assemble the complete furniture even in the case of whole rooms, to avoid any problems in the final assembly.
